SERVING
Jesus’ attitude to serving was pretty radical. As the Son of God, who had been involved in the creation of the universe, he was keen to stress that he had come to earth not to be served, but to serve. So serving is not just about getting a job done, rather it’s about becoming more like Jesus.
At Northwest there are many opportunities to serve, and in fact the church wouldn’t survive unless we all pitched in and helped out.
Some of the areas we need servers in are:
Creche

To serve with the creche you will need to be a church member and be CRB checked by Northwest Church.

Kids' workers
for school years reception-year 3 and years 4-6
Working with our Children's Ministry Curriculum you would lead Sunday morning kids group with another leader once a month.

Bass guitarists and drummers
To serve in the worship band you will need to be a church member.

To serve by setting up the venue and packing down on Sunday mornings, approximately 1 in 3 Sundays.
